SF Airline was the first ever Chinese express cargo airline to land in Changi Airport on 4 Sep 2018. It is the largest express airlines in China based on aircraft fleet. The airline operates between Singapore and China. SF Airlines is an extension of SF Group\u2019s business in Singapore.<\/p>\n
An express airline provides services for cargo which needs to be delivered within a deadline. The addition of SF Airlines\u2019 weekly service will increase main deck airfreight capacity to and from Shenzhen, which is one of the top five Chinese cities for cargo throughput in Singapore, by about 16%. China is Changi Airport\u2019s largest air cargo market.<\/p>\n
Changi Airport Group\u2019s (CAG) managing director for Air Hub Development, Mr Lim Ching Kiat said this move by SF Airline would \u201csecure Singapore\u2019s position as a premier regional cargo hub\u201d as it would allow for more cargo flows to and through Changi Airport. There is also a growing demand by the Chinese market for perishables and pharmaceutical products from the Southwest Pacific and Southeast Asian regions\u201d he added that \u201cthe added capacity by SF Airlines marks the start of expected growth of express flows on these routes.<\/p>\n
